诺贝尔文学奖(Noble Prize for Literature)评审委员会[1]11日在瑞典(Sweden)首都斯德哥尔摩(Stockholm)宣布，中国作家[2]莫言(Mo Yan)获得2012年度诺贝尔文学奖。诺贝尔文学奖评委之一马悦然(Goran Malmqvist)说，莫言是一位很好的作家，他的作品十分有想象力[3]和幽默感[4]，他很善于讲故事。
此次莫言获奖将会进一步把中国文学介绍给世界。本年度获奖者[5]将获得约合人民币750万元奖金，颁奖仪式[6]定于12月10日在瑞典举行。
对于诺贝尔文学奖来说，评选[7]过程是公开透明的，但提名[8]信息却要保密[9]50年。据诺贝尔奖委员会网站公布的数据，我们可以知道中国作家林语堂(Lin Yutang)曾经在1940年和1950年两度获得文学奖提名。
The committee of the Noble Prize for literature has announced on October 10 in the Swedish capital Stockholm that Chinese novelist Mo Yan is the 2012 winner of the prize. Goran Malmqvist, a member of the Noble Prize for literature committee, said that Mo Yan is a very good author, his works are full of imagination and sense of humor and he is good at telling a story.
This prize given to Mo Yan can further introduce Chinese literature to the world. The winner of this year's prize will receive about 7.5 million RMB and the award ceremony will be held on December 10 in Sweden.
The process of evaluation for the Noble Prize for literature is transparent to the public, but the information about nominees is kept secret for 50 years. According to data published on the website of the Noble Prize committee, we can now know that Chinese novelist Lin Yutang was twice nominated for the literature prize, in 1940 and 1950.
