The connection between the Great Wall of Liaodong Town and the Great Wall of Ji Town has been confirmed. Divided by Zhuizi Mountain, to their west and south lies the Great Wall of Ji Town, and to the east lies the Great Wall of Liaodong Town. This connection was confirmed due to the newfound Great Wall ruins, along a section of 20 km in Suizhong, Liaoning, outside of Shaihai Pass. These relics were revealed for the first time in a survey report which took place in recent days in around the Great Wall, conducted by Cultural Heritage Bureau of Liaoning Province and Bureau of Surveying and Mapping of Liaoning province.

The report states that the site begins at the Great Wall's first section (the most eastern section) at Nanling Mountain in Gouwai Station, SuizhongTown, and ends in Jingtiaobeishan Great Wall in Jintiaogou Station, parallel to the wall from Zhuizi Mountain and Jinniudong Great Wall. The Great Wall of Ji Town begins from Shaihai Pass, in the east, and reaches Juyongguan Pass in the west.

This section is easily flooded by water, since it stretches between ridges of the Yan Mountains, and the wall construction can become a water gate for the water flowing from the mountains. The Great Wall of Liaodong Town, which is approximately 2350 km long, is next to The Great Wall of Ji in the west, and reaches the Tiger Mountain Great Wall in Dandong Liaodong town in the east.
